The purposes of processing personal data and the legal basis for the processing

Personal data are processed to distribute the Office of the Chancellor of Justice’s newsletter. The purpose of the newsletter is to provide information on current issues to subscribers.

The legal basis for the processing is the consent of the data subject.

Personal data subject to processing

The processed personal data include the data subject’s name and email address.

Recipients or categories of recipients of personal data

The personnel of the Office of the Chancellor of Justice process personal data as part of their official duties.

No data are transferred to third countries or international organisations.

Period for storing personal data

Personal data are stored for as long as the mailing list is used to support information provision by the Chancellor of Justice. In any case, the data are erased based on a request by the data subject.

Rights of the data subject

The data subject has the right to be informed that personal data concerning them are or are not being processed and, if such personal data are being processed, to have access to said personal data.

The data subject may request the rectification or completion of their data, erasure and restriction of the processing of their data, and the transfer of data from one system to another. Consent to the processing of personal data may be withdrawn. The withdrawal does affect the lawfulness of the preceding processing.

Any requests concerning personal data and requests for rectification, completion, erasure, restriction of processing and transfer of personal data must be addressed to the controller.
