The purposes of processing personal data and the legal basis for the processing

Personal data are processed for the recruitment processes of the Office of the Chancellor of Justice.

The applicant's personal data are stored in the system based on the consent of the data subject. The processing of the stored data is based on the statutory obligations of the Chancellor of Justice as a public authority. The processing of personal data related to the recruiter’s access rights is based on legislation.

The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(a) and (c) GDPR.

Personal data subject to processing

Information related to applications: data identifying the applicant (name, address, telephone, gender, any other contact information), the information provided by the applicants on themselves in their applications, for example, information on education and work experience, other information provided by the applicant to support the application, such as a register extract/curriculum vitae, school and education diplomas, certificates of employment, references named by the applicant, other necessary information related to the job application process and filling a public office.

Recipients or categories of recipients of personal data

The personnel of the Office of the Chancellor of Justice process personal data as part of their official duties.

No data contained by the system are transferred to third countries or international organisations.

Period for storing personal data

Applications submitted for recruitment will be removed from the system six months after the end of the process. Open applications are removed from the system six months after the last save. The applicant’s data are deleted after one year’s inactivity. The applicant is notified before the removal. Applicants may also request the erasure of their data. The recruiter’s data are deleted on the basis of a removal request made by a resource management expert no later than at the end of the recruiter’s employment relationship.

Rights of the data subject

The data subject has the right to be informed that personal data concerning them are or are not being processed and, if such personal data are being processed, to have access to said personal data.

The data subject has the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning them. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, the data subject has the right to have incomplete personal data completed.

The data subject has the right to obtain from the controller restriction of processing if the accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject. In such cases, the processing of personal data will be limited to a period enabling the controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data.

Any requests for information on personal data and requests for rectifying or completing of personal data and the restriction of processing must be addressed to the controller.
